Title:   Black Figure Bowl Fragments

Description:   a) Wall fragment from cup or skyphos(?). Interior surface not preserved. Wall thrown in two parts, of which the outer has broken away, leaving the wheel-ridged surface of the inner wall exposed.
Above, remains of black figured decoration: two youths left, parts of heads and shoulders preserved. Broad purple fillets. Slight incision.
ADDENDA b) Fragment mended from two pieces; it gives the entire profile: rim flat above, flaring outside with a thick ridge at start of walls. Not thick bowl, with unbroken curve outline from the upper part of wall to the flattish bottom. Beginning of a raised panel is preserved at the right and just the beginning of another one at the left edge of the fragment, the between space being 0.03m. The back of a head to right; loose hair and red fillet is only preserved from the right hand panel. Not possible to say from which panel fragment a) comes.
