ΤΙΤΛΟΣ:   Υψίποδη κύλικα με τρέχουσα σπείρα 1400 - 1350 π.Χ.

Description:   Mended from seven pieces; complete except for one handle. Narrow lip out-turned and offset; bowl rounded, relatively deep; band handles scarcely rising above rim; tall slender stem; broad foot with circular depression at center beneath. Lip glazed inside and out; handle glazed outside. Decoration in main zone: double interlocking running spiral with triangular filling ornament above two sets of three narrow bands. Banded stem; one broad and one narrow band, then a broad band between two narrow; and another narrow and broad. The upper part of the foot banded; the edge and outer face glazed.
Pale buff clay, smooth lighter buff slip; red-brown glaze, slightly streaked.
Amarna parallels for spiral; early 14th c. B.C.
