Description:   Mended from many pieces; complete except for small wall fragments, but the body badly warped so that the fragments at mid-body do not join properly. Body rounded above, then tapering to raised base, slightly depressed beneath. Tubular spout, rising vertically from the top. At the center above, rolled basket handle, centerd and not touching the spout. Decoration: on the handle, slanting stripes between narrow bands; a broad band around each handle attachment, and an oval loop enclosing the two. On the body, wavy lines, alternately single and double, vertically from the handle-band to the foot. Spout banded horizontally.
Pale buff clay and slip; brown-black glaze.
Context:   Mycenaean chamber tomb at north side of Temple of Ares. Pot #23.
