Title:   White Ground Lekythos Fragment

Description:   Wall fragment from a large lekythos, mended from four pieces. Lower part of scene preserved; left leg of woman(?) standing frontal. Small portion of her himation, painted purple, preserved. Legs of another figure (male?) at right, standing to left. The inner lines of the legs in both figures not drawn, as covered under the long garments. Dilute glazed line below picture.
Context:   Fifth c. deposit, bone area no. 8; area of Mycenaean chamber tomb at north side of Temple of Ares.
