Description:   About one-half, including one handle and wall fragments, restored in plaster. Out-turned rim; horizontal handles.
Rim decorated with horizontal glaze stripes, shoulder with short panels of vertical stripes and S (extremely degenerated birds?). Lower body black, handles outside and the inside of pot also.
Dull brownish-black glaze, much worn. Attic clay with many particles.
A similar skyphos, but with plain rim (cf. P 7157) left in box 167. Fragments of others, in tins.
Context:   Well A (Double well by east entrance of Square Building), box 8.
