Description:   Handles, neck, foot and fragments of body missing; restored in plaster. Slender cylindrical amphora with narrow neck.
On either side of shoulder, dipinti in black paint: <graphic>
Hard, brick-red clay with white bits. No glaze.
C. Furnius C.f. was consul in 17 B.C. along with C. Junius Silanus. See Fasti Consulares (colotiani) for the year 737/17 in CIL I2.
