Title:   Jug with Graffito

Description:   Missing rim, fragments of base, and most of lower part of body, restored in plaster. Spreading ring foot with low bevel at the bottom; flat resting surface of varying width; inner face of foot rises in concave curve to join flat undersurface of floor. Round(?) body. Sloping shoulder. Narrow neck. Handle segmental in section, rooted in neck and shoulder. The neck and the upper part of the shoulder were thrown separately; on the exterior the juncture of the two sections results in a noticeable bulge.
On the shoulder, to the left of the handle, a large and crudely incised delta: <graphic>
Reddish-buff clay, with a few mica specks.
