Rather fine, dull red clay with small white bits; buff surface.
ADDENDA Presumably from a jar like e.g. Sw.Exp.Cyp. IV, 2, fig. LXII, 4-5 or possible 3 (Class VI pottery, datable roughly in the middle of the 5th. c.). See also pp. 286, 292.
