Description: | The fragments make up into two groups which preserve some two-thirds of bowl; bottom medallion missing; trace of large leaves which surround it. On wall, broad figured zone, with recurring groups: krater with mask above it flanked by Erotes riding panthers. Signature in narrow panel near top of zone: <graphic>. Above, guilloche. Plain rim. Pale buff clay. Glaze almost entirely gone. Cf. P 22218 (= Agora XXI, no. F 157). | |
