Description: | Broken all around. Parts of two zones preserved; inner, hindquarters of lion(?) and forepart of sphinx, both left. Outer zone, interlaced lotus and palmettes. Underside: narrow mouldings, widely spaced. Orange clay, grayish at core. Free use of added purple. On the underside, the mouldings glazed black; a single purple line in each of the reserved spaces between. | |
