Title:   Kotyle Fragment

Description:   Almost half, with one handle, preserved; whole profile given. Mended from four pieces. Almost vertical rim. Slightly slanting handles, round in section. Slight groove sets off a low base, flat underneath.
Inside and lower half outside glazed; top of rim, handle space and base (profile and underneath) reserved. On the rim outside, glazed horizontal bands; one band on handle. Between the handles reserved zone decorated with groups of vertical glazed bands and panels between; in the panels degenerated birds. Below the zone four more bands all around.
Brownish-red glaze; pink clay.
Context:   Well, late Geometric.
