Title:   One-Handled Cup with Graffito

Description:   One-handled cup, mended from five pieces. Small parts of rim missing. Disk foot, slightly concave underneath. Deep, pointed body. Band handle attached to rim. Rim flaring and offset by groove.
Inscription toward handle just below shoulder: Α Τ Α Τ Α Ι Α Σ retrograde, scratched on after firing.
Pinkish-buff clay, solid glaze misfired so that the lower part is black in an oblique zone. Upper part red.
