Title:   Jug with Glaze Decoration

Description:   Mended from many pieces; small parts of body and rim restored in plaster. Round mouth. Rolled handle, attached at rim and rising above it. Low disk foot. Body somewhat more slender than P 22720 and P 22721 (Ο 941, Ο 942). Broad band of glaze above foot and on and below rim. Thin band just below band at rim; on body three thin bands unevenly spaced. Wavy line in handle zone. Narrow band inside rim. Band on handle, terminated by cross line at rim inside; inside otherwise unglazed.
Pinkish-buff clay; small impurities; red to brown glaze, worn.
Context:   Well.
