Title:   Jug with Glaze Decoration

Description:   Mended from many pieces. Large part of front of body restored in plaster. Round mouth. Rolled handle, attached at rim and rising above it. Low disk foot. Round body. Broad and heavy band of glaze on and below rim. Narrow band just below rim, two others on body and one just above foot. Band inside below rim. Heavy line on handle meeting inside band. Inside otherwise unglazed.
Pinkish-buff clay with impurities. Uneven heavy glaze, worn in places.
Context:   Well.
