Title:   Storage Amphora Fragment

Description:   Upper part of amphora mended from many pieces. Small part of rim, parts of shoulder missing. Several non-joining body fragments. Balloon body; short neck; heavy flaring rim, offset from neck by raised edge. Rolled handles attached below rim and at shoulder. Heavy round ridge inside where neck joins shoulder. Rim, outside of handles, body covered with glaze. On both sides of reserved neck zone, two concentric circle ornaments, each consisting of two circles with dot in center. Below handle, reserved zone with four narrow bands.
Pinkish-buff clay; brown to black glaze, worn.
