Description: | Several joining fragments give full profile. On medallion, large head of Athena Parthenos facing; rope border; scraped groove across it. Around medallion, double row of small leaves. On wall, large standing figures (statue types): at left, Dionysos(?), his right arm resting on a pillar or horn; chlamys; something held in extended left hand; a panther at his feet. At right: maenad; peplos and short cloak. Her left hand rests on the trunk of a vine, the clusters of which hang over her head, a pair of flutes in her right hand. Glaze black to chocolate brown. | |
