Description: | Mended from two pieces; from shoulder. Two male figures facing each other; part of the forehead of the one at the left and the head of that at the right wearing a fillet, preserved. Spearhead between them, held by one of them. Ivy wreath above: the leaves alternated black and purple, and purple band at the sides of the panel. Purple also for the top of the head of the figure at the left and for the fillet on the other. Light red clay; unglazed inside. ADDENDA Possibly an amphora (D.B. 1959). | |
