Title:   Black Glaze Moldmade Footed Bowl

Description:   Four joining fragments give foot and part of lower wall of a bowl made by setting a large Megarian bowl on a wheelmade foot. Broad moulded ring foot; short stem.
On floor, a scraped groove scratched through the glaze, and within it the radii of circle painted in white and yellow. Moulded decoration on outside: bottom zone, large acanthus leaves alternating with narrow hatched leaves flanked by rosettes; dolphins above. Trace of figured decoration on wall: skirt of standing figure(?). Within foot, small gorgoneion in medallion surrounded by rope moulding and small leaves.
Metallic glaze, somewhat worn.
