Description: | Base, handles and much of lip missing. Narrow moulded rim; on upper wall wreath in added clay paint; hanging from it, garlands with pendent dot rosettes, once white. On the upper part of the lower body, a band of vertical gouging, to simulate ribbing, set off below by a groove filled with pink. Rather dull black glaze. Cf. P 4400. | |
