Title:   Moldmade Bowl Fragment

Description:   Five joining fragments preserve all of bottom and full profile.
Medallion: many-petalled rosette.
Lower zone: three overlapping rows of leaves with alternating palmettes and rosettes above. Two ridges separate lower zone from main zone, but pattern of main zone carries across the upper ridge, sometimes on top of ridge, sometimes underneath ridge.
Main zone: winged Erotes riding goats, to right.
Top zone: guilloche crowned by running spiral and palmette.
Attic clay. Glaze black to dark brown on outside; fired unevenly inside, brown to black.
Context:   Layer 1 behind South Stoa wall. South Stoa II Building Fill.
