Title:   Red Figure Cup Fragment: Inscribed and Type C

Description:   Mended from nine pieces. Most of rim, foot and one handle missing. Helmeted warrior with shield to left, kneeling on right knee. Device, two concentric circles. Nonsense inscription in red. Inside handle and handle space reserved. Relief contour except for the feet; anatomical details both in relief line and dilute glaze.
Pinkish-buff clay; good glaze.
