Description: | Part of floor and small part of stump of stem. Bearded man, reclining right plays a seven-stringed lyre. His left hand plucks the strings, his right holds the plectrum, which is attached to the bridge of the lyre by a long cord. Himation covers his lower half. Relief contour; anatomical markings indicated in diluted glaze. Red for the bridge of the lyre and for the cord. Pinkish-buff clay; good glaze. | |
