Title:   Cruet: West Slope

Description:   Mended from many pieces. Chips of mouths and pieces of side missing. A double-bodied pot with two tall spouts, one from upper body, one from lower. Spout from upper body has pinched in lip to facilitate pouring, where as spout from lower one has a plain round lip. Strap handle attached to inner sides of spouts. Ring foot. Knob on top of domed upper body. Decorated in thinned clay and white paint: "necklaces" around upper body, wreaths around base of spouts; pairs of vertical and horizontal strokes around point of greatest diameter.
Pinkish-buff clay. Rather poor brown to black glaze.
