Title:   Amphora Fragments: Chian

Description:   Four joining fragments preserve about half the rim, with part of the neck, the upper part of one handle, and the upper attachment of the other; a second fragment preserves part of the other side of the neck, marked with a circular impression just below the rim. Bulging neck, rolled rim marked off from the neck by a red band.
Sandy buff clay, grayish at core, with traces of surfacing and remains of waterproofing on the interior.
