Description:   Mended from several fragments. A good part of body walls and rim missing. Body like that of small amphora with greatest diameter below center. Low ring base. Mouth closed by strainer (eight holes around edge, solid center). From this, a high lip with profile like the flaring, incurving Hellenistic bowls. Ribbon handle, neck to shoulder. At a little less than right angles to this, a tapering spout, lip broken.
Soft red clay. Remains of all-over black glaze, thin, brownish and mottled. Also glazed inside.
