Title:   Moldmade Bowl Fragments

Description:   Two fragments from rim and wall; fragment b) mended from several pieces.
Rim pattern: bead and reel, from which depend groups of three concentric semicircles, having a swastika-like design inside, raised dots in field. Rim plain above bead and reel and nearly vertical; two grooves at lip.
Hard ash-gray clay. Fired red at surfaces on rim. Thin dull black glaze.

Context:   Trench for foundation of south stylobate of Square Building, between Stoa piers 12 and 13.
