Rim pattern: bead and reel, from which depend groups of three concentric semicircles, having a swastika-like design inside, raised dots in field. Rim plain above bead and reel and nearly vertical; two grooves at lip. Hard ash-gray clay. Fired red at surfaces on rim. Thin dull black glaze. Cf. P 20047, same bowl. Imported. | |
