Title:   Kantharos: West Slope

Description:   Many joining fragments make up into two non-joining from upper part of kantharos. Both handles missing. Restored in plaster. Wide mouth; plain nearly vertical rim; short concave neck; plump body.
Around neck, between two grooves, a single line of leaves and berries in added clay and white. Around shoulder, between grooves, diminishing rectangles and checkerboard; in panels beside handles, tree or flower.
Pinkish-buff clay. Glaze black, much flaked.
