Title:   Alabastron

Description:   Mended from several pieces; fragmentary; most of the bottom and part of the top preserved; non-joining fragments preserve a little of neck and rim, part of shoulder with one handle, and two small pieces of wall. Domed alabastron; projecting rim, rounded on top. Neck and rim glazed, and handles; glaze bands around shoulder below neck. On shoulder, large wave pattern. Beneath, concentric circles.
Pink clay; buff slip; decoration in dark brown to black glaze, somewhat worn.
Context:   Mycenaean Chamber Tomb west of Circular Building.
