Description:   Mended from several pieces; lower part of neck with start of shoulder preserved. Two glaze bands around base of neck. Above, on one side a horse, standing right, a waterbird beneath it. On the other side a grazing fawn (head and neck only) and, in the field above and to the left, a stag (antlers?) at much smaller scale.
Pinkish-buff clay with many black grits; remains of smooth buff slip. Glaze of decoration almost all gone, and surfaces all very much worn.
Context:   Well.
