Title:   Black Glaze Cup Skyphos Fragment: Stamped and Type C

Description:   Most of the circle of the foot preserved, with the floor, a little of the wall and rim, and one handle stub; two non-joining fragments give a little more of the rim and another handle stub. Foot has very slight lower moulding. Offset of rim inside also very slight. Scraped groove around wall outside, just above junction with foot.
On the floor, five palmettes fairly widely spaced around the center, then a band of ovules, with five palmettes set on it, spaced around.
Glaze good inside; outside much mottled. Outside light: a broad glaze band near the outer circumference; two thin circles and dot at center.
Context:   Well north of Nymphaeum, Boxes 1, 3, 6, 8.
