Description:   Four joining fragments preserve about half of the circumference of the rim with a little of the wall and base; restored in plaster. Large basin or deep mortar. Flat raised base; spreading sides; rim flat on top and slightly projecting. Around the top of the rim, two wheel-run grooves and on it the attachments for a rising handle, with a raised ridge crossing the rim at the outer edge of each attachment.
Heavy pinkish fabric with many bits, covered with a smoother buff surfacing, mostly worn off on the lower part of the interior.
Context:   Well to north of Nymphaeum, containers 125, 126, 128, 130. Context ca. 420-400 B.C.
