General type, as far as preserved, as P 24316 (ΣΑ 2526): This is the characteristic general type for the large proportion of the lekythoi from this group. Bell mouth with variations in height and spread; lip usually reserved, occasionally glazed. Disk foot of varying thickness; below picture either one or two reserved lines. Added colors more or less well preserved. Only substantial variations are noted in the following descriptions. Two red lines under the picture. Scene: man reclining on the ground left; woman, seated on diphros, facing him. | |
