Title:   Black Figure Lekythos

Description:   Half handle, small wall fragment, half foot missing. General type as P 24316 (ΣΑ 2526): This is the characteristic general type for the large proportion of the lekythoi from this group. Bell mouth with variations in height and spread; lip usually reserved, occasionally glazed. Disk foot of varying thickness; below picture either one or two reserved lines. Added colors more or less well preserved. Only substantial variations are noted in the following descriptions.
Shoulder: strokes above rays.
Scene: Dionysos seated holding horn; on each side seated woman; all three to right.
Same hand as P 24443 - P 24444 (ΣΑ 2653 - ΣΑ 2654).
Context:   Well beneath Stoa gutter.
