Title:   Black Figure Lekythos

Description:   Handle, most of back wall and fragment from the foot missing. General type as P 24316 (ΣΑ 2526): This is the characteristic general type for the large proportion of the lekythoi from this group. Bell mouth with variations in height and spread; lip usually reserved, occasionally glazed. Disk foot of varying thickness; below picture either one or two reserved lines. Added colors more or less well preserved. Only substantial variations are noted in the following descriptions.
Top of mouth sloping outwards.
Shoulder: strokes above dotted lotus bud (skipping two).
Scene: Dionysos moving right, holding horn, preceded by a woman. Rocks with branches on each side.
