Title:   Black Figure Lekythos

Description:   Much of wall missing. General type as P 24316 (ΣΑ 2526): This is the characteristic general type for the large proportion of the lekythoi from this group. Bell mouth with variations in height and spread; lip usually reserved, occasionally glazed. Disk foot of varying thickness; below picture either one or two reserved lines. Added colors more or less well preserved. Only substantial variations are noted in the following descriptions.
Shoulder: strokes above dotted lotus bud (skipping three).
Scene: youth reclining on the ground holding a drinking horn; on the left, Maenad and Satyr right, on the right, Maenad running away.
Context:   Well beneath Stoa gutter.
