Title:   Black Figure Amphora Fragments

Description:   Mended from two pieces.
Dionysos seated on throne right, holding kantharos in his right hand (part above chest and feet missing). Female figure seated facing him (knees and left hand extended in front of Satyr preserved). Between them, Satyr dancing left (upper part of feet missing).
Another small fragment shows a swan's head and may belong to the back of a throne to the right half of the vase.
Four more small fragments belong rather to other side. They show leg of a couch, head of a dog, animal's leg (the "paw" might belong to the third foot of a table in front of the couch) and human legs (one of a woman) and drapery.
Conservation Status:   Finished
Context:   Well beneath Stoa gutter, upper fill, disturbed.
