At right, a nude standing male figure, right; his right arm bent. Applied white for Athena's flesh and spear; added clay for the snakes of the aegis and the decoration of the helmet. No relief contour. For the helmet, cf. Schefold (1934), pl. 35; Eleusinian painter; the style very close. | |
