Title:   Black Figure Lekythos Fragment

Description:   Mended from three pieces. Figured zone shows sphinx seated right. Head, neck and wingtip are missing. Behind her a large eye, in front of her another. Details incised; red for a ring ("iris") of the eye.
Rather thin glaze, worn. The inside is heavily smeared with miltos which continues over some of the broken edges. (At this level there was much miltos in the fill.)
