Title:   Kantharos: West Slope

Description:   Mended from many fragments. Chipped, especially on base. Slightly concave upper walls forming angle with groove at meeting point with globular lower body. Moulded ring base; wide strap handles spurred with ivy leaves. On either side of handles, ear of wheat and ribbon ornament. Between them, double horizontal line with wave pattern above. Higher, rosettes alternate with dolphins.
Black glaze, worn; pink decoration.
