Title:   Black Glaze Kantharos: West Slope

Description:   Mended from many fragments. Fragments from body and one-third of base missing. Concave upper walls form angle with rounded lower body. Groove between them. Molded ring base, vertical handles spurred with ivy leaves. On either side of handles, ear of wheat and ribbon ornament. Between them, double horizontal line, with wave pattern above. Higher, dot rosettes alternate with dolphins.
Black glaze fired brown in parts, much peeled on exterior.
