Description:   Part of P 1646.
From horizontal brace of large kalathos (or possibly splaying cut-out stand).
Glazed within; cut-out faces reserved. Exterior: band of receding lozenges, dotted, the background solid-filled; diagonal struts below hatched.
Smoke darkened; hard clay, gray. Dull black glaze mostly lost.
ADDENDA Part of P 1646, under which it now goes. Many joining sherds from pyre H 16:6 [1967].
