Title:   Black Figure Oinochoe Fragment

Description:   Mended from many pieces; none of edge of base preserved and most of back, with handle, missing. The right edge of the figured panel remains, but not the left. Band of dotted zigzags at base of neck; row of short strokes at top of panel.
Dionysos sits right, holding a cornucopia. He looks back over his shoulder toward an approaching quadriga. White for top of cornucopoia, ornaments on horses' bridles and fruit of vines in field. White also (much faded) for leaves of Dionysos' wreath, his beard and dots on his himation. Red for the horses' manes and a band above and below the figured panel.
