Description:   Broken in place by dirt. Nearly complete but badly cracked and warped. Openings in wall, a few chips. Mended from numerous pieces and somewhat restored in plaster.
Flat base, bulging globular body, sloping 'metallic' ribbon handle from top of shoulder to rear of spout, long angled cutaway spout. Plastic pinched knob below handle, plastic ridge at junction of neck, swelling half way up neck. Bands: on outside of base, above base, at neck junction on plastic ridge, three half way up neck, two below spout, three under 'chin' of spout, along edges of spout. Handle and knob painted solid. Below neck, continuous fine wavy line; on body, three large curtailed spiral argonauts with simple flowers springing from the zwickel crevices.
Finest pale green-yellow clay with grit and pocks, pale smooth buff slip carefully applied. Dark red-brown paint turning to black on handle and neck.
Probably Furumark, MP type 144 (LH III A:1) from angle of neck and handle; motive 22, no. 16 (III A:1).
Context:   Chamber tomb, below Middle Stoa terrace, opposite Pier 20. At feet of Γ.
