Title:   Pointed Pyxis Fragments

Description:   Two large fragments and three sherds from lip preserve about one-half of body. Profile complete except for tip. Completely restored in plaster. Body zones, from top: zigzag, dogtooth, maeander (key and battlement, with filling), zigzag, checkerboard, zigzag, then glaze toward tip. Nice painting.
Hard, brittle pinkish-buff clay. Glaze largely lost. Variously discolored.
