Description: | Fragment from body of an amphora(?). Part of two decorated bands preserved, the upper one very fragmentary, with part of a dot rosette to the right. The lower band has, to the left, the hind quarters of a deer, and immediately behind the deer, to the right, the frontal head of a panther. Outlines and details incised. Upper band separated from lower by stripe of brownish-glaze. Attic clay; rather dull black glaze. Inside unglazed. Attic Animal Frieze Style. | |
