Title:   Black Figure Amphora Fragment

Description:   Male head right. Back of head, chin, end of beard and tip of forelock missing. According to wheel marks on other side, head seems to have been inclined foreward. Hair done with high-brushed forelock; back of head, along its black glaze edge, scallops in brown glaze. Applied purple on beard. Incision for all interior drawing, rather beautifully done.
Attic(?) clay. Glaze thins to brown but fairly good.
