Description:   Mended from numerous pieces. Somewhat more than three-fourths complete. Restored in plaster. Central medallion: Gorgon head. Lower wall: alternate winged Erotes and bunches of grapes. A band of tongue pattern and rosettes. Upper wall: frieze of the gods, repeated once, from left to right: River nymph Amymone with water jar (cf. P 4022, Hesperia 3 (1934) p. 364, no. C 42); on the right with his hand on her shoulder Poseidon with his trident; draped goddess with staff in her right hand; Apollo with lyre seated right; Amymone; group of two figures holding a third; Amymone; Apollo; draped figure with staff. Order of figures repeated once. Above spirals surmounted by anthemia. Line for miltos, now lost.
Good black glaze, much worn on the outside.
