Description: | Broken both ends. Piece resembles large deep lamp nozzle, but does not appear to be associated with any known lamp type. The head is applied with its cut-off neck toward the up-curving tip of the spout. From the neck it inclines slightly back left, chin out. Hair parted in the middle; on this a high, smooth headdress narrowing down to the sides. Attic clay. Fairly solid glaze with silvery lustre. | |
