Title:   Black Glaze Bowl: West Slope

Description:   Complete except for chips; mended from many pieces. Moulded ring base; convex walls; slightly downturned rim; upper surface of rim offset by scraped grooves with added miltos. Between grooves: vine pattern done in clay and added white. On floor: scraped circle with added miltos; within circle, a large rosette done with alternating leaves of added clay and white.
Orange clay. Metallic black glaze. Added white paint and tan slip.
Context:   Cistern.
